Hi all.

We made it to Boise Idaho today; not a very long drive, about 3.5 hours but we did stop at the Snake River and took some pictures and enjoyed one of the stops along the Oregon trail.

Weather has been in the mid 80s everyday which makes for great driving.

Included are some pictures of our travels so far.

Love to all.

This is actually Oregon, close to the border of Idaho. It's called Farewell Bend because settlers left the Snake River here to head for the Columbia.

How is it going?
Haven't heard from you guys in a couple of days. Hope that all is well and you are enjoying the drive? As you probably know, Lynette and Dave arrived at your home and are settled in. Dave has been to the military place and applied to help out. He is really looking forward to doing it. All is well up here on the hill. Still no word from Verizon as we get closer to the 10/1 meeting date. Well, let us know where you are and how it is going. Love, Papa and Doris
