Bug traps line the roads all over the countryside. At night car batteries are connected to power the fluorescent tube lights and a vertical plastic sheet is hung underneath. Insects attracted to the lights land on the sheet and eventually fall down into the water trap underneath. In the morning you collect your breakfast - moths, crickets, cockroaches, beetles. Yum.

We must be getting good as this travel lark - we entered Cambodia without having to bribe the immigration officials to stamp our passports as many travellers do, and even manged to haggle the money changers down to a decent rate.
