Wat Phnom from a distance

Had a bit of free time today so wandered over to Wat Phnom to take in a bit of culture. Wat Phnom is considered the founding place of Phnom Penh. Legend has it that in 1392 Lady Penh fished a floating Koki tree out of the river and inside there were four Buddha statues. Hello all After thinking about if for at least a year, I have finally implemented a plan to take some time out of corporate life and volunteer for a non-governmental organisation (NGO) in Cambodia. The NGO is called Bridges Across Borders Southeast Asia (BABSEA) which focuses on several key areas of development including human & housing rights, community empowerment, child education & protection, and livelihoods training (NGO-speak for giving people skills to make a living, whether it's farming, sewing, making jewellery, etc).
