During one of our shopping excursions, the bus stopped at a beach so we could stroll down the promenade and get a sense of the new city. The father of this lovely child tapped me on the shoulder and indicated he wanted to take a picture of us holding his son. The young fellow was full of smiles and we had a great photo session. His mother spoke to him in Chinese and he turned to Dianne and gave her the most delightful kiss. Everyone was enchanted. We had to take a picture of all the new friends. We have taken many pictures of really cute children.
We're in China! August 26th 2008 Well, we’re here and mostly settled in. The flight from Victoria to Vancouver was a bit anti-climactic. Loading 6 suitcases plus carry-on bags into the van, driving to the airport finding two carts to shift the stuff to the check -in desk is a lot of work for a 15 minute flight.
