We got stuck in Maumere township for four days while we waited for a flight out of Flores. There wasn't a lot to do there but we did rent a scooter one day and drove around the coast. It was a fun trip and I got to where a racing helmet! Unfortunately it was a little too big and had no chin strap so I spent most of the time holding it on.
