We got up at 4am to start the pitch black trek to the sun gate. It tooks us about an 1 1/2hrs to get there and we had to walk with our torches with all the bugs flying round the light. When we arrived at the gate there was loads of cloud covering Machu Picchu so we didnt get a very good view which was a shame.
