House of Terror

The Museum of Terror documents Hungary's tourture and brutalization under both the nazi and commie regimes. Pretty sobering to think that you can build a museum of that size devoted to torture and terror. As part of our terror tour, Moom and I also went to the Lukács Cukrászda, a coffee house down the streets once frequented by ss and soviet thugs. And also to the Astoria Cafe, another popular WWII-era evil guy hangout
Budapest with Moom

Last month Moom and I went to Budapest for a long weekend. It was Moom's second European trip in a year, and her second favorite trip after Berlin.....ha ha just kidding!
