Last month Moom and I went to Budapest for a long weekend. It was Moom's second European trip in a year, and her second favorite trip after Berlin.....ha ha just kidding! We walked around most of city despite the cold and sometimes windy conditions. Check out the photos to see some of what we saw.....

The Museum of Terror documents Hungary's tourture and brutalization under both the nazi and commie regimes. Pretty sobering to think that you can build a museum of that size devoted to torture and terror. As part of our terror tour, Moom and I also went to the Lukács Cukrászda, a coffee house down the streets once frequented by ss and soviet thugs. And also to the Astoria Cafe, another popular WWII-era evil guy hangout

When in Budapest, you have to go to the baths and take the waters at least once. We decided to go for a swim and massage at the msot famous bath in Budapest, the Gellert.
