Getting over my disappointment of Franz Josef was made a little easier by our arrival in Wanaka. The journey from FJ to here went through some of the most goosebump-making scenery I have seen so far in NZ. I have been working non-stop since leaving university and last February I felt I had got to the point where I could buy a house and settle down or I could travel the world and mix-it-up globally...it was a tough decision. While I have travelled quite a bit with my job and on holiday (Europe and the US), I felt I had never really got out there and seen stuff.
