Incomparable Iceland (or how to get wet in 16 different ways)
July 16th 2008 Iceland was apparently named by a disgruntled settler who lost all his livestock in a particularly harsh winter. Given the numbers of volcanos, geysers and gushing steam vents alongside glaciers and snow topped mountains, many people argue that the country should in fact be called Fire and Iceland.
Good point. But...what do you get when you mix fire and ice?
