Kahala Beach awaits My very favorite beach on Oahu is the Kahala beach. It is near Waikiki where most tourists stay. Home to Sea Quest, it has a wonderful pond for the dolphins, and a quiet, luxury ambience on the sand. Take bus 14 from Waikiki and you'll be there in minutes. I am a retired teacher from North Carolina. I taught middle school math. Later I became a middle school counselor and a high school counselor. My husband also taught at the community college.
