Ok, so we wanted to book our flights out of Sandakan for the following Friday, which happened to be Good Friday. After everything we had been through we were ready to leave. The tour agents in Sandakan were generally unhelpful, one could only offer us flights at around 700-800MYR per person (6.4 = £1) for the flight to KL, while the other said that there were no flights. Hello, This is our plan so far - we will try and update it as we go along..... We'll miss you all like crazy, family, friends and of course Wendydog. Jan 27th fly to Bankok, spend the night Jan 28th fly to Hanoi - travel overland to Saigon, then through Cambodia, back to Thailand, through Malaysia, across to Borneo, for Kota Kinabalu and Sepilok, then back to KL onto Taman Negara, and then onto Singapore March 25th Singapore to Bali, from here travel through some of the islands - Lombok, Sumbawa, Flores. April 23rd Bali to Sydney - travel up the coast to Cairns July 2nd Cairns... full info
