We got an oppertunity to have a look at two of the best known glaciers in New Zealand, the Fox and the Franz Josef. There was a great trade in helicopter rides to the top of both glaciers, but we decided to take the cheaper option of travelling by shanks mare, i.e. foot. Hi. My name is Brendan, my wife is Linda and we are both Irish, currently living in Dublin. My wife and I have always envied those young people who had the opportunity to travel after leaving school, collage etc. We ourselves went straight from school into the work place.
