Hey all, Lived in Fiji for 5 years, finished high school there on the main island Viti Levu in a town called Lautoka (20 minute drive from Nadi where the airport is located). If your planning on going to Fiji for a short trip (1-3 weeks) I'd suggest that you spend as little time as possible on the main island as everything you hear or see when Fiji comes into mind is in the islands. Hey all, I'm currently an undergrad at Auckland University, New Zealand. I've traveled most of life and it seems for the first time I'm tied-down (its the only way to explain how I feel) to one place until i get my degree out of the way. New Zealand's beautiful, and I'm planning on doing a bit more traveling around the South Island during the school holidays but the next big trip that I've always wanted to do is backpack around South America (and perfect my Spanish in the process!).
