The sleeper bus to Hanoi took about 14 hours, yet was much less strenuous than our previous overnight bus, as we each took half a sleeping tablet, and were out cold for most of it. We arrived in Hanoi, at 7am, on a grey day (the weather was to remain like this for our entire stay in Hanoi.)
