Surfers Paradise hat 500'000 Einwohner und wie es schon der Name sagt trifft man hauefig mitten in der Stadt auf Surfer die ihr Board in Richtung Strand tragen. Die Einheimischen behaupten, in Surfers sei das Surfen (Wellenreiten) erfunden worden, was natuerlich nicht stimmt.... aber lassen wir ihnen die Freude.
