En route to Aswan, waiting for dinner.
No snow in Aswan

The overnight train to Aswan was very comfortable and we transferred by boat shuttle to the Pyramisa hotel on Isis Island, a small island in the middle of the Nile River. Very beautiful but 41 degrees C with no wind to speak of. Plans to visit the outdoor Nubia Museum were dropped in favour of drinking cool beer by the side of the Hotel pool. ... read more
