They had 80 arches on each of the three levels. This whole structure used to be encased in marble. NOtice all the holes, thats where they tore out the iron rodes to retrieve the marble.
Historical Rome February 15th 2006 Seven hours of sleep and I feel refreshed and ready to take on Rome. There were these blinds that came down on the windows that locked and turned to room pitch black so there was no waking us up .. that is until the alarm in the TV came on ... that was wierd.
