In Brisbane I took a bus to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, for an obligatory gander at Australia's extraordinary wildlife. Aside from an astounding number of cute and cuddly koalas, the sanctuary also housed a good range of country's most well known creatures. The highlight for me was an excellent bird-of-prey display.
