LOS ANGELES
April 4th 2008 We landed safely in LA at 3pm and made our way Downtown to Cecil Hotel which seemed to be mainly inhabited by homeless people and prostitutes and some other backpackers. We liked it. The area was a little bit dodgy and we were struck by the poverty that we saw, but the Americans have been really friendly and helpful.
