A Reminder of the Season

The castle itself wasn't done up with Christmas decorations like most other spots in Germany. Colditz is still a rather isolated tiny village in what was the old East Germany. No doubt these folks still aren't profiting quite yet from the reunification with those rich West Germans.
Day Four - Really Cold in Colditz

December 23rd 2007
It got mighty cold last night but by staying under my fluffy down comforter I stayed warm. I just hope none of my appendages were sticking out as I slept. I don't need a repeat of last year's brain-numbing flu. Once again Tyler was the last one ready for breakfast.
