Jordan was fantastic. The people are lovely, very friendly and most of them just want to speak to you without any desire to sell you useless tat. The first night was spent at the airport hotel as we arrived really late on in the evening. The next day we headed for the Dead Sea and went for a swim which was great. Well we went away at Xmas 2006 for 6 weeks and went to New Zealand, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Sydney. We now have the travel bug so are hoping to go away early 2008. Where and How long for are unknown, but anywhere and everywhere we can afford. 3rd March 2008: start in Turkey for a week to visit Jess’ friend Rebecca.
