Indeed, this old building also housed the first Sex Pistols' gig in Manchester, the gig that's supposed to have moved "everyone" of the later music scene here. The wings of history, eh? It's today a hotel, and I managed to ask the kind receptionist if we could see a couple of statues hanging on a wall, so we got in to feel those wings flap like mad :-)

This time, we ventured into the North All photos by Skord As far as I've heard, the road signs don't say "Manchester" when driving from the south of England here, but they just state "The North".
