On Jan 9, while we were still in Bangkok, we mailed the old backpacks to Hong Kong.
Later, we visited the Vimanmek Mansion, which was the palace occupied by King Rama V. It was a lovely compound, with the main palace and many surrounding residences built for the prince & princesses.
