The majestic Wanghai Tower in the Liu Jingting Park

Beautiful doors open for us at the entrance, on our way into the newest of Taizhou's parks. Visible in the distance is the grand Wanghai Tower, newly and lovingly renovated and re-created from ancient drawings, by able Chinese craftsmen.

It is difficult to imagine, unless one has been a personal witness, how much Taizhou has changed its image and sky-line in only 2 years. That is the time since my first visit to this "mid-size" Chinese-city of 5 million inhabitants.
