I spent the last of this week on a quick exposure trip to Southern Tagalog. Though I am still finding the geography a little hard to follow - Canada has a few BIG provinces, while the Philippines has a TON of little provinces - I am almost positive that Southern Tagalog is the area at the bottom of Luzon, including the island of Palawan.
