The View from the Top

From where we stood just outside the castle entrance we were unable to really get a decent night photo of Colditz Castle. We were too close and the view of the castle interior was obstructed by the compound wall. The most important thing we learned while up there was that the castle would be open for business on the next morning. These steps led back down into the town square and to our hotel.
Day Three - Escape from East Berlin

I seemed to have adjusted very quickly to the time change because noise outside our window last night kept me up for awhile.
