The Head Teacher of Buigiri is seen here with the business man that established the supporting foundation for the school. They continue to be good friends. In Tanzania it is not uncommon for men who are good friends to walk hand in hand.

Buigiri School for the Blind

The Buigiri School for the Blind is one of five schools operated by the Diocese of Central Tanganyika. It was founded in 1950 by an officer in the Church Army and is situated in the village of Buigiri, roughly 20 km east of Dodoma.
