The mountains surrounding Cairns

It definitely feels tropical here, and we haven't really chosen the best time to visit. It's the rainy season and is so so hot and humid. Most of our days in Cairns have revolved around going for a swim in the pool or Lagoon as often as poss to try and cool down and de-sweat!! TravelBlog: I started writing this blog to try and keep any interested parties updated on my travels. I actually haven't been that greta on updating it as often as I should of really. I could say I was too busy seeing the world to spend time writing about it but I think the real excuse was that I have just been a bit lazy at doing it! I have already arrived home now.
