Early start for us today at 5am for a 05.40am bus to Tongariro National Park - ouch! We decided to do the day trip from Taupo as we like Taupo and wanted to stay longer and although we are heading that way dow, we heard that as people know that you will be away from your car for 8 hours as it's an all day trek there are a lot of break ins!
