Pastoral life

The hilltops are dotted with little villages. Many of them have no vehicle access whatsoever so people must carry everything they need to and from their homes. While scenes such as these are pastoral and charming, it is important to consider how difficult life is for the people who live there. They have few options but to continue with labor intensive farming, few if any health care options, and little access to decent education. On the other hand their food is fresh and healthy, their air is clean, and they are strong from daily walking and farm work. Somewhere between the chaos of the city, and the burden of the countryside lies the middle path for people who live in these areas.
A trip out of the valley
