Ometepe - In the middle of the lake.

So next stop was Ometepe. This is an island in the middle of Lake Nicaragua, the largest lake in central Ameria and home to freshwater sharks! The island has 2 volcanos, 1 active, the other not. The first thing we had to tackle was the border in to Nicargua. hanks to our wonderful guide this went smoothly in a place where I would have been well and truely lost.
