Cedar Falls

Here is a view of Cedar Falls. There is very little water and the top of the falls is in the shadows and very hard to see. You can see the spray going down into the bowl. You might be able to see folks down at the base of the falls. I didn't hike down to the bottom of the falls. I had to put my wide angle lens on my camera, put it on the tripod and hold the tripod out over the edge of the overlook (there was a railing!) to capture this image. The trees kept you from seeing much of the falls from this vantage point.

Hello from Oklahoma. I’m just east of Oklahoma City tonight after a leisurely 292 miles on the road. Had a slow dial up connection at Petit Jean so I didn’t upload an entry last night. Surprisingly I have an extended network connection with my cell phone (and therefore my cell broadband modem) here so I’m using the campground’s wireless.
