I'd been waiting for this day for months, one of the main highlights of China, seeing the Terracotta Warriors. It really was worth the wait. . I qualified as a teacher in 1997 and have been teaching ever since. Thoroughly enjoying my job, I took the first brave steps to having a career break. Selling my flat and minimalising my belongings and gradually throwing useful travelling things into my backpack ready for the first leg of the journey on Monday 23rd July.
