On this day we began our exploration of Munich, an “old” city that’s actually quite new. Much of Munich was destroyed by bombs in WWII. As the end of the war drew near, the Nazis did not want to show lack of confidence by removing or protecting the city’s art or buildings, so they photographed everything.
