We finally made it to Bangkok after some delays involving sitting in a grounded plane for 3 hours! We found a hostel in Khao San Road, a popular area full of backpackers. Today we set out to the Grand Palace and Wat Phra kaew (temple of the emerald buddha). It is really quite impressive. We needed to wear long sleeves and pants to enter.
