The flight to Kodiak was, thank God, uneventful and short. The view from the plane was spectacular and we were all excited about going to Kodiak. It's the 3rd largest seaport in the US, is mostly parks, and has 3,000 Kodiak bears and 6,000 people. I didn't like my odds but hoped the bears were still hibernating.
