The second cenote

There was one beam of light from above which looked really magical! There was no ladder to get into this one, you just had to jump in and then climb up a piece of rope to get out!

Today I went on a trip organised by my hostel to see some Cenotes (sen-oh-tays) which are sink holes that are found in loads of places on the Yucatan Peninsular. The guide only spoke in Spanish, but I think he said that they were created years ago (maybe 2000? maybe not!) when there was a meteor crash. However, this may be completely wrong!
