Statue Park
September 11th 2007 What does one do when the political system of your country collapses all around you and you are stuck with immovable statues of your formerly venerated leaders? Make a park, that's what. Statue park is about 30 minutes outside of Budapest. The statues are pretty cool and sort of ironic now that Hungary has a thriving democracy and market economy. The park itself is sort of useless and cheap.
