Sakkara (Zakara) Step Pyramids

After we toured Abu Simbel, we took a plane from Aswan back to Cairo. We spent two more days touring Cairo! One of the days, we visited the Step Pyramids, about a 40 minute drive outside of the city. These are the oldest pyramids in Egypt. Much smaller than the famous Giza pyramids, but much older.
