The Faces of San Cristobal

It is very difficult to take photos of the indigenous people in Chiapas because they believe you are stealing their soul. At times, you can offer 20 pesos (2 dollars) for a photo. We did our best to respect their culture. I was often told "NO foto".

After a good breakfast (which will be discuss later) with Carlos' family...we were off, but this time, we didn't need to take the bus. Carlos' family offered to take us to San Cristobal de las Casas, which was a nice change of pace, so the 7 of us carefully organized ourselves in the car.
