Hash and Mark here on our return to civilization. On arriving in Chang Mai on the 8th, we check into a nice little guest house at about 90p per person per night (much cheaper here than Bangkok) and swiftly book ourselves onto a 3 day jungle trek leaving at 10am the next day.
