these mounds are self regulating as these termites meke sure they build into the sun east facing to get most sun and then stay on east in morning and when gets hot move into middle. Also built dependant on direction of wind, rain etc unbelievable insects!

WOW WOW WOW WOW. We couldn't face going straight into Darwin. Driving for five days over 2500kms and we needed some time out and entering a city after being in middle of nowhere was extremely daunting.
