Medieval City Wall

There are remnants of three city walls throughout the town. This is the first one which dates from the 1200s.

Another beautiful day!!! I hope we don’t get too used to it! We decided to spend the day in Maastricht, which was billed in our guidebook as the ‘gem of the south’ (of the Netherlands).
