Day at the beach

April 9th 2007
We travelled from Santiago to La Serena. It was a long day on the Pan American Highway. We arrived about 5:30 at our campsite near the beach and we stayed at the hippo camping grounds. Nothing too exciting, but it was clean. Next day we explored La Serena. It seemed like quite a nice little town until the bus loads of american tourists arrived from the cruise ship in harbour.
