I am a biologist...
I’ve been fascinated by the biology of insects since childhood (thanks to my father and mother, who motivated and helped me a lot). After school in Kazakhstan, where I took my first steps in biology working on Scarabaeidae beetles ecology, I decided to continue my education in Novosibirsk, Russia and graduated in 2006. I did my Master’s on the individual behaviour of bumblebee drones.
Now I work in Helsinki, Finland on my project with ants, social parasitism.... full info
