The castle youth hostel

When we finally found the Youth hostel it was apparently one of the local tourist attractions in town. The caretakers had started painting it in happy african colours, but the German tourists had complained since they thought it destroyed the cultural heritage left by them long ago, and the building should look colourless instead. The sollution was to leave it halfpainted. Probably not the best sollution. We staid here for 60Nam$ a night for a full dorm to ourself, while all the other tourist staid in the backpacker's, for 90Nam$ each. Nobod want's to stay since it's an "african" youth hostel, which means a lot of black people. But that's kinda the reason why we came to africa, to meet the people, so for us it was great.
