Finally the weather up there cleared. Unfortunately, we were 130km (as the crow flies) away and on the way to Auckland for me to fly out of the country.

I feel like I've over-blogged the North Island in the last few days. There's so much that I've seen and experienced, I had a hard time paring down the blog content.
