Rare red-crowned crane

This guy was an absolute hoot. He strutted up and down doing all sorts of displays with his wings. It looked like a courtship ritual. On the other hand, perhaps it might have been some sort of territorial "dance" as he took a particular liking to Hans! Unfortunately my camera wasn't up for the quick movements.
