Dag 02: Pichincha en Mitad del Mundo

Vanochtend met de taxi naar de Teleferico. De Teleferico brengt ons in een 2.5 km rit van Quito (2850 meter hoog) naar de voet van de vulkaan Pichincha (4100 meter hoog). We hebben nog niet genoeg van de hoogte(ziekte)... Op de vulkaan hebben we een schitterend uitzicht over de stad Quito. Je ziet hier ook heel goed hoe uitgespreid de stad ligt.
